Zink Shirts holds seminar for all interested

Zink Shirts, Oswego State’s go-to screen printing service, will be hosting an educational seminar open to all Oswego County businesses and Oswego State students on Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Zink Shirts has provided screen-printing services, embroidery, graphic design and custom apparel. Zink Shirts has become the primary screen-printing company for many of Oswego State’s clubs and organizations needs.

Oswego State senior, Shealene Guerrero, a Public Relations intern at Zink Shirts, came up with the idea for the seminar. She wishes to share the same opportunities she has received during her time with Zink with the art department as well as anyone who is interested in the screen-printing.

The seminar’s goal is to give all those in attendance a crash course of this creative industry and give them an opportunity for art and design students to ask questions about a functional, small screen-printing business. Zink will also be providing a behind the scenes tour of the company.

Throughout the seminar, all attendees will get hands-on experience by screen-printing one of six preselected designs that will be set for production. Upon its completion, the T-shirt is a gift from Zink and attendees are free to take it home. Any business or student association that attends will receive a discount on their next order.

The seminar will be located in the Zink Shirts area of operations at 19 East Cayuga Street in Oswego and is free to all who attend.
