Is it too early to start listening to holiday music? Â We asked that age old question to students passing by in the Marano Campus Center. Â Once Halloween passed you probably found yourself hearing a song here and there on the radio that wasnât just Drakeâs âHotline Blingâ. Â Will you escape the vortex of holiday music? Â Or will you embrace it?

Finance major, Chris Evans thinks itâs just a tad bit early to be spreading holiday cheer, since after all it isnât even Thanksgiving.
âYeah [it is too early] because Itâs not even Thanksgiving yet and Thanksgiving is when I put up my Christmas tree,â Evans said.
Sophomoreâs Marianela Quero and Leah Lannone had opposing views on subject.
Quero think itâs completely acceptable to jam out to the music all year round.
âI listen to it in June when Iâm cleaning and I just want to put the station on Pandora,â Quero says.

Lannone stands by the notion that itâs a bit too early and listening to the music now may lead to what I like to call âChristmas burnoutâ.
âThanksgiving has not even happened yet! Â I like to trick my brain into thinking itâs not yet Christmas so when Christmas is here you donât have that build up waiting for it,â Lannone said.
Setting the tone for the upcoming holiday season, was Oswego State Lakers menâs ice hockey Captain Christopher Raguseo, who believes that once Halloween comes to an end, holiday music is where it’s at.

âAs soon as Halloweenâs over, let the holiday music come, itâs the best time of year,â said Raguseo.
