A water main broke on Bridge Street in Oswego Friday night around 5 p.m.  Traffic was reduced to one lane in either direction until it was closed completely between West First Street and East First Street around 7 p.m.  During that time, all motor vehicles were required to find alternate routes, including the Oswego City buses, which detoured via Utica Street. The water main was repaired and Bridge Street was reopened the following Saturday evening.
