  1. To Whom It May Concern:
Recently, artist Edward Kelley donated his popular Bell Tower piece to Oswego’s permanent art collection. The piece was taken down and was going to be installed at a permanent site over by Wilber Hall and Shineman (next to the parking lot). However, one of the sections of the piece was stolen from its staging site.

It’s the topmost section with the decorative quatrefoil cutouts. The piece is made of rusted cast iron, probably weighs about 20 – 30lbs and is an approximate two foot long curve.

Would it be possible to run an ad/article about the theft in the case that anyone knows of its whereabouts? I can supply pictures of the artwork and missing section.

We are going to put up posters but I thought you guys might get more exposure.

We are directing people with information to the University Police.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Best,

    Professor Entner
