Luke Parsnow is a junior double major in journalism and creative writing and minor in American history from Sterling, N.Y. This is his third year working for the Oswegonian and first year on editorial staff. He is also a multi-instrumental musician and singer/songwriter who travels all over the East Coast performing with a band. He also enjoys writing novels, science fiction, acting, psychology, politics, 1960s T.V. shows, watching documentaries, and laughing hysterically at things that aren't funny.
Zachary GewelbSports Editor
Zach Gewelb is a senior journalism major from Suffern, N.Y. He wrote for the Oswegonian last year and this is his first year working on staff as the Sports Editor. Zach is a die-hard sports fan who once participated in batting practice at Yankee Stadium. He enjoys watching baseball, basketball and football and listens to classic rock music in his spare time.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Moraima Capellán Pichardo is a double major in Journalism and Cinema and Screen Studies who loves yoga, photography and food. Aside from The Oswegonian, she is involved with the Latino Student Union and Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society. She lives in Brooklyn, NY and speaks fluent Spanish.

Alain Pierre-Lys is a senior communications major and creative writing minor. He has been writing for The Oswegonian for three years and started first in the Laker Review section. His hobbies include reading, writing, knitting, eating, going out with friends and spending time with his precious angel of a nephew.
Patrick MalowskiMultimedia Editor
Patrick Malowski is a senior Broadcasting and Mass Communications major at Oswego State. This is his second semester as the Multimedia Editor at the Oswegonian. Patrick strives to add an extra element to the stories that are published online for a better audience experience.
He is involved with other student media organizations on campus WNYO 88.9 FM and WTOP-10. Patrick co-hosts "The Monday Breakdown every Monday night on WNYO with Mr. Mark Levine, is a Field Reporter for WTOP-10 News, and is a producer of "Oswego Sports Update", which airs live every Monday at 11pm on WTOP-10.
Patrick is heavily into news and would like to become a multimedia journalist when he graduates in this upcoming May.
In his spare time, Patrick plays out with his band Atticus Finch and frequently plays at the Lifestyles Open Mic Nights on Campus. He loves to record music with his brothers and his friends as well as collaborate with other musicians. He is also a die hard Boston Red Sox, Buffalo Bills, and Syracuse Orange fan.

Devon NitzCreative Director
Devon Nitz is a junior from Long Island, N.Y. This is her second semester with The Oswegonian. She joined last semester and worked with the Web Director to produce the new design on The Oswegonian's website this summer. She's a big fan of Final Fantasy and Once Upon a Time. Her hobbies include tennis, traveling and photography. She works with the Tyler Art Galleries as the President of SAEC (Student Art Exhibition Committee), and is constantly working on her art/design..

Carson MetcalfWeb Director
Carson Metcalf is a sophomore meteorology major at Oswego State. Besides being the Web Director for The Oswegonian, he is also a reporter for WTOP-10. In his spare time, Carson enjoys web and graphic design, video production, listening to his eclectic playlist of music--which includes his favorite band, Queen--and spending time with friends. Carson also plays piano and is a black belt in Shorin Ryu karate. He is a self-proclaimed Apple fanboy as well, evidenced by his growing collection of vintage Mac computers.
Jody RothBusiness Manager
From Jamesville, N.Y., Jody Roth is a 5th year student in the 5-year Accounting BS/MBA Program.This is her first year at The Oswegonian and her first year as Business Manager. She was the Treasurer for the Outdoor Club for two years and while she still enjoys hiking, rock climbing, kayaking and other outdoor activities, accounting and being a graduate student has kept her busy this year so far. However, you can still find her playing water polo with the club every Tuesday night in Lee Hall Pool. Next year she plans to move down to Washington, DC where she will work in public accounting as an auditor.
Alex KingstonAd Manager
Alex Kingston is a 5th year MBA/Accounting student from Rochester, N.Y., and the current president of Beta Alpha Psi Accounting and Finance Honor Society on campus, as well as an accounting lab instructor. Upon graduation, he will begin working at PricewaterhouseCoopers public accounting firm in Rochester. He formerly worked in the fitness centers on campus as a personal trainer and in his free time tries to stay as active as possible. He loves sports and, although he is ashamed to admit it, is a die-hard Oakland Raiders fan.

Amanda Bintz is in her second year on The Oswegonian's staff. She is a junior with a double major in English and creative writing and a minor in journalism. She also works as a tutor for the OLS Writing Center. She’s lived in a few different places, but most recently she’s called Herkimer, N.Y. home. She went to West Canada Valley Central School for part of middle school and all of high school and graduated Valedictorian. She’s a big fan of the nerd trifecta: Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. According to Pottermore, she’s a Ravenclaw. Her hobbies are writing, watching TED talks and buying more books than she’ll ever be able to read. She also collects elephants. After college, she hopes to continue working with words or be a crazy cat lady. Or both.

Daniel O'Connor is a senior double major in journalism and global & international studies, with a minor in French. This is Danny’s first year at The Oswegonian. He enjoys traveling and spent last semester studying abroad in Paris. A dual citizen to the U.S. and Ireland, Danny interned at the Irish Embassy while in Paris.

Shanna Fuld is a sophomore at Oswego State with a duel major in broadcasting and Spanish and also a creative writing minor. She is from Queens and is involved with theater, rows for the Crew Team, is coordinating the Louis B O’Donnell Media Summit and is a TA for a Communication 100 class. This is Shanna’s second year writing for The Oswegonian and first year as Copy Editor. Whether in Spanish or English, Shanna loves to chat.
Olga ReyesCopy Editor
Olga Reyes is a a journalism and creative writing major and English minor. She was born on Long Island, but she was raised in El Salvador until the age of seven. When she have some downtime she loves to draw, read and write, as well as cook and attempt to play some sort of musical instrument which never works out. When she's not doing those things, She's at The Oswegonian searching for grammar errors, or elsewhere searching for grammar errors like it's her job.
Aimee Hirsch is a senior from Peekskill, N.Y., with a journalism major and English minor. This is her fourth year working at The Oswegonian. Last year she served as editor-in-chief, but she is now enjoying taking a step back and working on the new online section, The Lighthouse. After spending the summer as an intern at Condé Nast, Aimee now aspires to work in magazines after graduation. When not at The Oswegonian office, Aimee interns at WRVO Public Media, works as a tutor in the Writing Center, and listens to the Game of Thrones soundtrack on repeat. Aimee thinks copy editing is cool, dreams in AP Style and loves to edit the world around her.
