What’s happening this weekend in Oswego (March 7-9):

Future Oswego Leaders Conference: Future Oswego Leaders Conference is being held on March 7 and 8 in the campus center food court. Enjoy presentations by students, alumni, the Compass, SUNY Oswego clubs, and opportunities to network with Oswego alumni.

PRSSA Brunch: Public Relations Student Society of America  is hosting “Raise a Bunch at Brunch” at the Shed March 9. You don’t have to be 21 to attend; anyone can join. This is a fundraiser for American Cancer Society and will be 12-3 p.m.

Last Open Skate: Friday, March 7 is the last time for you to attend an open skate session in the Campus Center. Make sure you swing by anytime from 12-2 p.m. Admission is $1 with your student ID and $2 to rent out a pair of skates.

SAPB Trivia Night: Every Friday night, Student Association Programming Board (SAPB) hosts Trivia Night in the Lake Effect Cafe in Penfield Library, 7-8 p.m. If you want to join, email them at SAPB.Trivia@gmail.com or find them on Facebook at facebook.com/SAPB.Trivia. You can win money or choose what trivia topic will be presented the next Friday night.

Music at the Oswego Music Hall: Oswego Music Hall presents musicians Richard Smith & Julie Adams. Playing at the McCrobie Civic Center, 41 Lake St. on Saturday, March 8 from 8-10 p.m. are finger guitarist Richard Smith and cellist Julie Adams. Tickets can be purchased at the River’s End Bookstore or on oswegomusichall.org for $14 or $16 at the door.  Prefered seating will be awarded to people who purchase their tickets before 1 p.m. on the day of the concert.  For more information on Richard and Julie’s music style go to www.richardsmithmusic.com/duo.

Concert Night: The music department is having its annual concert on Friday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m., featuring small groups with large groups, jazz with classical music, and more. It will be held at Tyler Hall in Waterman Theatre. Tickets are $5 for students, staff, seniors, and faculty, and $10 for the general public. All money will go to the department’s scholarship fund.
