Students’ thoughts on recent government shutdown

In response to the United States Government shutdown for the first time in 17 years after disagreeing with the fiscal budget for 2013, students voiced their opinions. Numerous of government funded organizations, businesses, and services were negatively affected. Thousands of government workers and military associated personnel were out of work. Because of the delicate state the country was in, multimedia reporter Issack Cintron took a trip around campus to get opinions from various students. Some responses were colorful, others more serious. In the end, opinions were given, voices heard and the first amendment was practiced as follows.
