The Saboteur

The Saboteur

While there have been too many WWII games to count, "The Saboteur" seeks to break the mold. Developed by Pandemic Studios, "The Saboteur" has players assume the role of Sean Devlin, an Irish mechanic who attempts to stop the Nazi problem in Paris. He does this by destroying Nazi buildings, derailing trains and other over-the-top activities. This game is the first to have a near perfect 3-D representation of Paris and includes such landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, all accessible by Devlin. The visual style is interesting because most areas of the game start off in black and white, except for Nazi flags, but slowly gain vibrance and more color as players defeat the opposition. "The Saboteur" sneaks onto the scene for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on Dec. 8.
